The Officine Panerai Radiomir was born in 1935, when the manufacture was commissioned to produce a diving watch for the Royal Italian Navy.
Since that time, the distinctive case has been only slightly modified. Details such as the screw-down crown and the case back, which is also screwed down, remain unchanged, as does the dial, which is particularly easy to read even under the most adverse conditions.
The Radiomir presented here was made of 18-karat rose gold. It is a limited edition of only 300 pieces. In addition to the hour and minute, the black dial also displays the seconds and date decentrally in a separate viewing window.
The diameter of 40 mm is a modern size, which is also excellent as a dress watch.
